Admissions

Whether you seek admission to one of our degrees at first year or beyond you need to apply through UCAS.

The University of Strathclyde will take students from many countries. If you have just left school and are seeking first year entry you should contact your local British Council Office to find out whether your school-leaving qualifications are acceptable. Alternatively, you may wish to consider enrolling into a foundation programme such as the International Foundation Programme Scotland - IFPS.

Direct entry into second, third or fourth year is possible, click here for further details.

Applicants should possess core Physics skills, which are outlined here.

Information on the UK’s Points Based Immigration System can be found here www.strath.ac.uk/rio/pbs and here http://www.strath.ac.uk/sees/infoint/visasandpbs/
